You can now read highlights of the year and the latest annual report from the chair, Sandra Riise in english. We hope that this annual report will illustrate some of the reasons why we are engaged in this work. We are convinced that Norway needs an independent body that monitors whether commercial regulations in the country have been well drafted, so that businesses do not incur unnecessary costs.
You can also read about our result and activity in 2020. The trend indicates that the Norwegian Better Regulation Council’s red statements are increasingly mentioned in the decision documents produced by those responsible for drafting regulations. We see that the affected business community has been identified in 83 % of the Covid-19 cases, which is more often than what we found in our surveys of ordinary cases.
